EXPLORE!

Welcome to Canby!

We invite you to explore and enjoy all Canby has to offer.

Quietly nestled between Portland and Salem, the friendly community of Canby hosts some of Mt. Hood Territory’s most significant events.

Canby is loaded with year-round activities from music festivals to epic fireworks displays and community events for the young and old alike.

We are home to the Clackamas County Fairgrounds and Events Center, where thousands of people from all over the Pacific Northwest come for our Annual County Fair & Rodeo the 3rd week of August.

Known as “The Garden Spot” Canby is also home to the world’s largest Dahlia producer – Swan Island Dahlias! This family owned and operated agritourism destination welcomes thousands to its Annual Dahlia Festival in the late summer when the dahlias are in full bloom.

Canby’s natural beauty and serene surrounds abound. We have rivers, parks, play areas, walking paths, hiking, bike trails and many outdoor activities to take in during your stay.

There is also plenty of parking in our downtown district where you can explore our amazing array of retail and specialty shops, antique stores, and historic storefronts at your leisure.

Explore Canby Oregon!

But don’t forget to feed your soul at one of our many foodie favorite restaurants, cafes and watering holes that are locally owned and operated.

If you love off the beaten path adventures, we have many agri-tourism opportunities here in the heart of the Willamette Valley. TMK Creamery is a not-to-be missed stop on the Oregon Farm Loop!

A contributing member of Oregon Wine Country, Canby has access to outstanding local and surrounding wineries. St Josef’s, for instance, is a family-owned winery with year-round tastings, seasonal winemaker’s dinners, winery events, summer music events, and the Fall Grape Stomping Festival.

Canby is an Oregon destination with plenty of fun things to do…stop in and say hello!
