The Canby Community has events happening year round! There is always something to experience here!

  • The City of Canby’s First Thursday Market
    • Year-Round
  • Monthly First Thursday Night Market occurs year-round from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month. Park your car and explore the amazing downtown Canby shops and restaurants on foot. Wander up and down the sidewalk, and you will discover specialty stores, antique shops, and terrific locally-owned restaurants, cafes, and bars. In addition to shopping and dining specials, there are always free, fun activities for kids and adults.
  • The Canby Farmer Market
    • April – October
  • The Canby Farmers Market is one of the best in the state–and that’s saying something. It has many local goods, including fruit, veggies, flowers, coffee, cakes, crafts, live music, beer, and wine tasting.
  • Canby Independence Day Celebration
    • July 4th
  • The City of Canby hosts its annual Canby Independence Day Celebration downtown. The event features fireworks and a parade, a street fair with food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts exhibitors, and local nonprofits. A car show and parade offer fun for all! Live music fills Wait Park, where children can participate in numerous free activities.
  • Harefest – The Mother of All Tribute Festivals
    • July
  • Harefest is the aptly nicknamed “Mother of All Tribute Band Festivals” — and one of the most beloved parties in the Pacific Northwest. Hosting some of the world’s best musical talent and tributes to beloved artists of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. This musical extravaganza spans two packed days and nights and welcomes thousands of rock and roll enthusiasts to the Canby area.
  • Slice of Summer
    • July & August
  • Slice of Summer is a series of free music events held in the summertime at Wait Park in Canby, Oregon. For the 2022 season, we will have 4 concerts, each concert will run from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. There will be food and beverage vendors at each concert for you to purchase dinner or a snack.  Festival dates and Performers: July 10th – The Jesse James Band
  • Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo
    • August
  • Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo is a week-long event held at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds.
  • Wild Hare Music Festival – Clackamas County Fair
    • July
  • Wild Hare Music Festival features 22 artists representing a wide range of genres, including country, Americana, southern rock, blues, red dirt and more.
  • Canby’s Big Weekend
    • August
  • Canby’s Big Weekend features the Cutsforth’s Cruise-In, Swan Island Dahlia Festival, Canby Dahlia Run 10K/Half Marathon, and more! The event kicks off with Canby’s Big Night Out Street Dance. The Big Night Out Street Dance features live music, local food and beverage vendors, and free children’s activities.
  • Cutsforth’s Cruise-In Car Show
    • August
  • The Cutsforth family founded the classic car show and is sponsored by Cutsforth’s Market. Cutsforth’s Cruise-In brings majestic cars from across the west into downtown Canby. The event is free for attendees, while those who want to showcase their rides will be asked to pay a nominal fee, with proceeds benefiting a local nonprofit.
